A man named Goro entered the arena. He was dressed entirely in black and had a mask on (like Kakuzu's). He drew his knife and went into the Combat Stance drawing his knife in a sideways grip.

A man named Kasu would enter the arena as well. He was dressed in entirely white, and had an AnBu mask on like that worn in the leaf. He drew out his knife and went into his combat stance. It was a bit different from his opponents. His knife was facing upward, and his body was turned to the side with his empty hand out front, and his knife in his other hand in the back. His knee's were bent and he said "Here I come" as he began his attack. His first attack would be a normal thrust with his blade towards the center of the mans body. While he did this his entire right side would move with the attack. His right foot coming forward to put more power into the strike.

Goro, as he was taught in the Military, went on pure instinct. He caught Kasu's wrist with his left (off-hand) and reversed the grip to upwards, his plan was to stab Kasu in the armpit and tear the knife down his arm to the palm, called Sleeve Tear.

As Kasu's wrist was grabbed he immediatly pulled it back in an attempt to pull his opponent forward while the man tried to attack his under arm pit he would bring his off hand in. He would have his fingers balled up like a fist only the middle fingers knuckle sticking out some and punch at the wrist the knife was in. If it made contact it would cause the opponent to either drop the blade or just stop the attack briefly.

Goro let go of Kasu's wrist and backed away, trying a different approach. He went in and made a thrust to Kasu's ribs, the plan being; once Kasu was stabbed in the ribs, Goro would follow through by making two deep, slightly diagonal cuts to Kasu's temples.

Kasu would back away after his wrist was grabbed. He then began to watch his feet and shoulders for any movements in an attempt to predict them. He watched them move a fraction of a second before the actual movement and begun his counter. Instead of completely dodging he countered. Bring his knife under his opponents knife in an attempt to lift his arm up and get under it. He would quickly switch it to sideways position after that and move in to stab at the mans ribs.

Goro slapped the knife away from stabbing his ribs with his off-hand. He reversed his grip to a downward position and swung the blunt side of his knife, aiming for Kasu's jugular vein.

Koru would raise his shoulder near his jugular vein to take the blow while he would then quickly grab the mans arm and attempt to flip them over his shoulder onto the ground. If successful he would then stab downward at his chest.
